Get Fired Up for Freedom on Bill of Rights Day

The ACLU-WA will celebrate Bill of Rights Day, Thursday, December 15^th by distributing copies of the Bill of Rights – in plain language. Stop by our table at Westlake Park from 11:00am until 3:00pm. We’ll also have bumper stickers, buttons, Know Your Rights information, and sign-ups for our E-Activist Network. The first 100 visitors to will receive a free ACLU-WA “Fired Up For Freedom” t-shirt!

While we’re at Westlake Park, Cupcake Royale is also getting Fired Up for Freedom at all six of their Seattle locations by offering FREE cupcakes to the first 20 people to join the ACLU at each Cupcake Royale location as well as ACLU buttons, stickers, Know Your Rights information, and the Bill of Rights! A portion of all of Thursday’s proceeds will be donated to the ACLU of Washington at Cupcake Royale locations in Capitol Hill, Ballard, Madrona, West Seattle, Downtown, or Queen Anne.  Let’s celebrate our civil rights!
