While the fight for safe and just Black Futures continues, it is also important to reflect on moments of celebration and joy. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s seat on the U.S. Supreme Court is certainly one of those milestones. We invite you to take a look back at Jackson’s nomination in 2022, when ACLU-WA’s Executive Director Michele Storms considered what the first Black woman on the Supreme Court would mean for her and for all Black Futures in the United States.
