Before joining the ACLU-WA in 2015, Andrea spent 15 years in fundraising and communications for Seattle-area nonprofits, including Arts Corps and Amara. A native of Corvallis, Oregon, Andrea earned a degree in journalism then continued on to culinary school. She spent two years as a professional baker before turning her skills toward working for justice. She is raising two children who never stop delighting and exhausting her. Other pursuits have included being a foster parent, doing roller derby boot camp, and continuously trying to re-learn French. Andrea laughs loudly and loves coffee.
