Community Organizing Workshop

Come visit the ACLU of Washington’s table at this community organizing workshop hosted by Americans for Refugees and Immigrants. Madeline Rider, the ACLU of WA Program and Events Manager, will be speaking on the ACLU’s work and ways to take action.

Come join Americans for Refugees and Immigrants at a community organizing workshop featuring some of the most impactful progressive organizations in Seattle! Presenters include representatives from:
-Northwest Detention Center Resistance (NWDC Resistance/Resistencia al NWDC)
-Seattle Transit Riders Union

-ACLU of Washington

These fantastic organizations will be speaking about their missions, their upcoming events, and ways that community members can get involved, as well as fielding questions from the audience. After the presentations, we'll break out some snacks and give folks a chance to meet with organizations in small groups or one-on-one to learn more about volunteering, sign up for events, and more!
