Day of Action - #StandWithMuslims in Seattle

Date:
Tuesday, June 26, 2018 - 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Location:
William Kenzo Nakamura United States Courthouse
The U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision, upholding the #MuslimBan today, June 26th.

This is not the first time the Court has been wrong, or has allowed official racism and xenophobia to continue rather than standing up to it. History has its eyes on us — and will judge today’s decision harshly.

The #NoMuslimBanEver campaign, along with CAIR-Washington State, OneAmerica, MAPS AMEN (American Muslim Empowerment Network), ACLU of Washington, and Truman Project - Pacific Northwest Chapter are organizing a local DAY OF ACTION to implement the day the decision is announced. We're meeting on the steps of the William Kenzo Nakamura United States Courthouse downtown Seattle (across from the library) to hold a press conference and rally to show our solidarity, support, and resistance to hate.
