Date:
Saturday, June 30, 2018 - 1:00pm to 2:00pmLocation:
Grant Park, SpokaneWe are co-hosting an event with other national, state, and local organizations actively working towards a safer community. We're also inviting individuals and looking for public speakers, who professionally and personally are invested in this issue, including immigrants, Dreamers, refugees, faith leaders, doctors, psychologists, educational professionals, and others.
The focus is not simply on a protest, but on community engagement and education. Each speaker has been chosen to highlight a different part of this complex and comprehensive systematic bias and discrimination in our system, through professional and personal viewpoints. We are focusing on policies and the people impacted by them.
This event will be kid/family friendly!
