Flights & Rights: Election 2020

What’s on the ballot for Washingtonians? ACLU of Washington Staff Attorney Breanne Schuster talks about our vote-by-mail system and voter access to the ballot. Leah Rutman, ACLU of Washington Health Care & Liberty Counsel speaks about the potential impact of this election – specifically, the Washington state’s House of Representatives’ power over health care. Jennifer Cole shares the latest on Referendum 90, the Washington state law requiring all public schools to teach age-appropriate, inclusive, comprehensive sexual health education to K-12 students.

Moderated by Michele Storms, ACLU-WA Executive Director.

This month’s Flights & Rights has it’s very own soundtrack to take you through the season, curated by KEXP DJ Eva Walker of The Black Tones.

Our partner brewery is Lucky Envelope Brewing in Seattle’s Ballard/Fremont neighborhood. Mention the ACLU and receive $5 off your order on October 11th from 12pm-9m or October 14th from 3pm-9pm. While supplies last.

Registration required.
