Indigenous Peoples March

Date:
Friday, January 18, 2019 - 11:00am to 2:00pm
Location:
Spokane Tribal Gathering Place
Please join us as we stand with the Indigenous Peoples March on January 18, 2019, in support of the many environmental activists, traditional wisdom-keepers, organizers, tribal leaders, social entrepreneurs, artists, educators, innovators and change makers who are working to give voice to the rights of Indigenous peoples around the world. We want the City of Spokane and surrounding communities to be a part of this first international march of its kind to unite the voices of Indigenous Peoples.

Our local committee is supporting the Indigenous Peoples March in Spokane, which will occur in conjunction with the national march in Washington, DC, on the same date. We are requesting your support. Please lend your name and time to this effort if you can. We want to put together a program that will highlight indigenous peoples and their concerns from our region.
