March and Rally for Billy Langfitt

Saturday, April 14, 2018 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Westlake Park
William “Billy” Langfitt was shot and killed by police on March 16th. After the loss of his grandfather and job, Billy had a mental breakdown and ran down the streets of Spanaway in his socks, yelling and banging on passing cars. His girlfriend called 911 for help, but when Pierce County Sheriff’s deputy arrived, he fatally shot Billy.

Show your support for Billy and his family and educate the public on de-escalation tactics by marching and rallying with us at Westlake Park. ACLU Deputy Director, Michele Storms will speak during the rally.

The Langfitt family welcomes all who support this cause.

This event is hosted by Not This Time, NAMI Eastside, the ACLU of WA and others. See the Facebook page for more details.
